Notes: This couplet combines a moderately loaded overhead squat with a challenging height on the box jump. This workout is intended to be short in duration and the movement combination will be very demanding on the lower body. Use a load on the overhead squats that allow for the round of 21 to be completed with no more than 2 quick rest periods. Use a height on the box that will allow for consistent reps to be performed.
Scaled box jumps to step-ups because of the boxes at JVL Y. If this is at home or DEL Y, use foam plyobox for jumps.
