ME 1000m Row/Splits |
Goal: Measure cardiovascular fitness and total-body stamina.
Equipment: Concept 2 rowing ergometer.
Test: Finish 1000m of rowing as quickly as possible.
-Start the test at the 1000m mark (displayed on the computer screen in front of the rower), counting down to zero meters.
-Damper must be set to 6 for the test.
-The athlete’s recorded score is the total time it takes to complete the 1000m.

Notes: This matched my PR for 1000m (3:39.3). I set the pace boat for 1:50/500m split which I held for the first 500m. The next 250m, I fell off that pace slightly and sprinted home the last 250m.
